Frequently asked questions

What is a Google Merchant Center feed?

A feed is a structured list of your product offers, including identifiers, titles, prices, availability and links. Merchant Center uses this data with your website and account settings.

Why are my products disapproved?

Disapproval can come from product data, landing-page inconsistencies, images, account settings or policy issues. This tool checks feed data; it cannot inspect your Merchant Center account or guarantee approval.

How do I check my Google Shopping feed?

Upload your Google RSS/Atom XML, CSV or TSV feed, or enter a public HTTPS feed URL. Choose your target country and scan. Review the free summary before buying a complete report.

What causes Merchant Center errors?

Missing required attributes, invalid prices and currencies, malformed GTINs, duplicate IDs and unsupported values can cause issues. Missing identifiers and shipping require context, so we flag them for review rather than assuming every omission is an error.

Do I need a Google Merchant Center login?

No. We do not access your Google account. Reports stay accessible in this browser through a private session cookie; retain that cookie to return later.

Is my product feed stored?

Private files and reports are used only for analysis, never sold or used for model training. Access expires after 7 days and automatic cleanup removes the stored files. You can delete a scan earlier. Necessary payment records are retained separately.
